Defense Matters, Episode 3 | A New Middle East?

Israel Defense, in association with the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is proud to present its new podcast, Defense Matters, which delves into all elements of defense, technology and the powers that move them.  

This week, we take a look at the seemingly new era in the Middle East: Israel now has open relations with the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and others, and the Palestinian issue seems passe. And yet, we still have rocket attacks from Gaza, terrorism on Israeli streets and the same, persistent tensions within the Old City of Jerusalem, restricted access to holy sites,  and more.   

So are we living in the “new Middle East,” or is it the same old one it’s always been? Eran Etzion, Former Deputy Head of Israel's National Security Council, will give us his analysis.
